Anchor for Life
A ship without an anchor gets pushed by the waves and the currents in the sea.
An anchor needs to be strong, firm and real.
An anchor cannot be imaginary. It cannot be a conception.
Every thought is an idea, a conception, and therefore not real.
Therefore, the anchor cannot be any thought. It has to be beyond thought itself.
God is beyond thought.

Even if ship and anchor are not imaginary, if the connection is imaginary, then where does the ship reach ?
Until the point of realization, the "connection" will be a mere idea. Isn't it ?
Is it a mere idea?
Is love, which connects two lovers an idea in their mind? Can we think love? If that were to be so, by merely saying "I love you", we must be able to love. Are we able to do that?
So, the connection which exists between the hearts is not an idea. We either perceive it, or we do not. Often we say we love someone only when we perceive this connection. But that does not mean that the connection itself doesn't exist. This connection is nothing but love.
your everyday routine, of doing anything is your anchor.. the things you do.
the anchor that you talk about often tends to be something tangible but it isnt absolutely necessary. It could be something abstract. Living for a cause that is important for purely personal reasons and with no obvious benefits arsing from it could also be an anchor in a person's life.
